"Like the ocean, every wave is unique—and so is every child. When children are invited to become active participants in learning, curiosity grows, confidence builds, creativity flourishes, and meaningful connections are made."

Waves of Wonder

An Interactive Journey Through Waves of Sound, Movement, and Imagination

What happens when students become the ocean? They discover the power of rhythm, creativity, and collaboration.

In this fun, interactive assembly, students don't just watch—they become part of the experience. Using ocean drums, body rhythms, breath, a wave parachute, and scarves, they work together to create rolling waves, crashing surf, and calming tides through music and movement.

As they listen, create, and move together, students discover patterns in nature, strengthen active listening and teamwork, and experience how rhythm and movement can spark imagination, focus, self-regulation, and creative expression.

As the ocean settles, students leave with more than a memorable experience—they leave knowing that when they listen, create, and move together, they can accomplish something extraordinary.

Erin Bishop Pedone is the founder of Reiki Shores, where she creates restorative experiences that invite people to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. Her work is rooted in the belief that we are not broken and there is nothing to fix — we all have an inner wisdom and sense of wholeness waiting to be remembered. Through private sessions, group experiences, retreats, school and corporate wellness offerings, you’ll be supported in finding greater calm, clarity, and connection.
